Nile Cruises

Since the early days of modern tourism, a cruise on the Nile has been seen as the best way to visit the monuments of Ancient Egypt, and has motivated the such inspirational writers as Arthur Conan Doyle and Agatha Christie – who could resist reading 'Murder on the Nile' as you gentle cruise up river!

Today most cruises ply the waters between Luxor and Aswan, visiting the major sights at both towns (including the Valley of the Kings, the Temples of Karnak and Philae and the High Dam), plus the midway Temples of Kom Ombo and Edfu. Some cruises travel slightly further afield to include the Temple of Hathor at Denderah. The boats are essentially floating hotels and sightseeing is done in organised groups from the boats with a guide.
