The
Cruiser was named after the French Empress Eugenie who attended the grand
opening of the Suez Canal in 1869. Built in 1993, in the style of a turn of the
century Nile steamer, the elegant Eugenie boasts all modern comforts and
amenities. The
Eugenie was the first cruise vessel to sail the Lake. The
elegant interior created by Amr Khalil, offers its passengers a 'fin de siecle' atmosphere,
full of warmth and style. The
Eugenie is 74 meters long and weighs 1000 tons.
Cabins
The 52 cabins are each fully air-conditioned
and have private ensuite facilities with a hairdryer and mini-fridge. Upper
deck twin cabins and main deck twins have a private balcony. The exclusive De
Maria Suite and the Imperatrice
suite have private terraces and jacuzzis.
Cuisine
The spacious restaurant serves the finest in Egyptian and International
cuisine.
Facilities
A trip aboard the Eugenie is a visual experience with its delightful
interior decor. Unwind after a hard day's sightseeing in the delightful
Edwardian lounge or sip a cocktail in the 'Safari' or 'Cat' bars. Catch up on
the reading in the library. The boat has a good swimming pool with covered
sundeck seating areas. Try the sauna,
