Some tours are quite hectic with plane, train and boat journeys; others more relaxed allowing you to savour special moments. They reflect the many faces of Egypt. From Pharaonic magnificence to barren desert wastes to the luxuriant banks of the River Nile and the sparkling dancing waters of the Red Sea. We also look at modern Egypt – a vibrant and exciting country.
However, our tours are only a guideline for you to use – keep them as they are or feel free to mix and match itineraries – or give us your ideas and we will, as a tailor-made specialist company, design a personalised tour. Our versatile service adapts to your requirements, as, above all, we want you to enjoy our compelling destinations and come home with the most vivid memories.
HOTeLS, CRUISES & MEALS
Throughout our tours we have chosen, for our guests comfort and relaxation, the best hotels in each area. Off the beaten track they are far more simple but in all main areas they are in the 5* category.
The Cruise boats are also carefully selected for their style and elegance and for the amenities on board. Again all are classified as 5*.
Meals are as stated in the price but board arrangements can be adapted to suit your needs. Some hotels offer fully inclusive. On Cruise boats the meal arrangement is on a full board basis – paying for personal extras – drinks etc.
Food in Egypt is generally of a good standard. International fare is offered as well as local dishes.
INTERNATIONAL & INTERNAL TRAVEL
For your comfort we generally use the following International flights and internal flights. If you have a particular airline preference please asks for a quote there may be price variations. For clients wishing to leave from a regional airport we offer competitive internal UK connecting flights to Heathrow, and we can arrange hotel accommodation and car parking facilities.
Egypt Air
 Egypt Air is the national carrier and operates regular flights from London Heathrow to Cairo, Luxor and Sharm El Sheikh. The airline uses a modern fleet of Airbus and Boeing aircraft and is dedicated to offering a high standard of service and comfort. Egypt Air is also used for all internal flights in Egypt.
British Airways
 British Airways and its franchise partners GB Airways operate regular flights to Cairo, Alexandria, Sharm El Sheikh and Hurghada. All routes offer a full in-flight service and a choice of travel classes including World Club and World Traveller cabins.
bmi
 bmi operate daily direct flights to Cairo. The award winning airline schedule flights from Heathrow's Terminal 1, allowing greater flexibility for connecting flights from regional airports.
Royal Jordanian
 Royal Jordanian operates a modern fleet of airplanes and has high standards in passenger care and comfort. When you book with Royal Jordanian, you can pre-order the flight meal and are offered complimentary drinks.

Internal Transportation
A variety of transport is used for travel in Egypt. Each suitable for the journey – i.e. 4x4 for Desert Safaris, coaches for tours or private cars as specified in the itinerary.
GUIDES
Where applicable on all our tours we use English speaking driver/guides, all knowledgeable in their subjects and full of enthusiasm for their country. Only Egyptian guides are allowed to operate in the tourist sites and in the Museums. They all have Institute of Egyptology qualifications. On cruises there will be an English speaking guide.
EXTENSIONS
For most of our holidays, we can add on extensions including: Red Sea, Mediterranean coast, Desert safaris, Specialist courses – diving for example, Petra in Jordan and extended stays at hotels of your choice.
STAFF & TRAVEL INFORMATION
Indus peruses a constant programme of staff training, both in the office and in the 'field'. Indus has been recognised by the Business Link and Learning & Skills Council for their staff training, and, in 1998 won the Investors in People Award.
Staff are sent on 'educational' trips to personally experience the destination they are responsible for. We believe in first hand experience, so our consultants can pass on their knowledge to the client to help them choose the right tour. Our Development team is always monitoring the travel scene, and constantly adding new excursions and tours to our programmes.
